Job DescriptionA little about this position:
Fabricates, repairs, and maintains resort equipment and facilities.
Reports to and assists the Supervisor and more qualified fabricators in completing assigned tasks using common types of shop and field equipment.
NOTE:
Interviews for this position will require an in-person, on-site skills test.
Requirements:
High School graduate with a minimum of 2 years' well-documented work experience in metal working trades.
Trade school education or apprenticeship training is a plus.
Continued education such as AWS seminars and other E-Learning opportunities.
Must be able to work at a Journeyman competency level using welding, machining, and fabricating skills to complete assigned tasks.
Must be a problem solver and have the proven ability to work under pressure to meet critical timelines and objectives.
The ability to operate shop equipment including mills, lathes, programmable cutter, brake, shear, saws, and other common types of shop equipment.
Experience with commonly used welding processes including SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, FCAW, and plasma and oxyfuel cutting.
Possess or have the ability to obtain welding certifications for SMAW and FCAW welding processes.
Must be able to comprehend concepts and designs via shop drawings and detailed plans.
Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as, operating, maintenance, and repair manuals.
The ability to operate Windows based software applications.
Possess a valid Class C Driver's License with 3 points or less.
Must have completed or be willing to complete the 10-hour OSHA General Industry training course.
Hourly pay rate:
$24.
00 to $38.

$23 per hour.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
